How do i order?

Please note that most of the time I have cake batter on my phone screen or chocolate on keyboards. It may take up to 1 business days to answer your enquiry.
Generally, 2 weeks notice will be required for a cake order, however to ensure your booking, you may wish to order earlier. More detailed cakes, such as wedding cakes, require at least 6-8 weeks notice, or longer during peak seasons.

Order process and payment
After the basic details of your event is confirmed, a design brief of your cake or dessert will be provided. Once you sign off on this, an invoice is sent and payment will be required within 7 days to secure your booking.
For orders that are made significantly in advance, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Full and final payment must be made within one week of your event.

CAKE PICKUP DAYS AND TIME
Cake pick-ups are available from my South Melbourne base.

Delivery
I charge a delivery fee starting at $25. This includes set-up and travel time, and must be organised in advance.
For locations within CBD locations, delivery may be negotiable depending on size of the order.

Cake CarE
Once a cake leaves my hands I take no responsibility for any damage incurred. Please ensure that you treat transportation with absolute care.
Cake must be refrigerated prior to transport.
It is best to place the cake box on the flattest part of your car, ideally in the boot. The floor of the passenger seat is also an option. I suggest turning the air con on. Do not put your cake on the car seat!!

Please don’t tell me it’s your wedding! If so, do you want to grab a drink???? Do you need tissues? You’re welcome at my kitchen bench and we’ll eat your cake together…
In all seriousness, there are often instances where it is unavoidable to cancel your order, my fullest sympathies are with you and I will do my best to be flexible.

Photo and cake inspiration
Photos of cakes by other designers or themes are used as inspiration, I do not directly copy but images will be much appreciated so I know what style and feel you like.
Taste testing
Cake testing are charged at $35 per seating and will be taken off your invoice upon confirmation.

You've changed your mind on coloUr scheme or design
Any major changes to your order less than two full weeks before the required delivery date may incur an additional fee. This fee will cover the reworking of the cake design and or loss of work already completed on an order.
Allergies
All cakes are made in the same kitchen. I take all care to clean all equipment to accommodate your request however there is no guarantee that products are nut, gluten or diary free.
Please also note that most baking ingredients are produced in an environment where trace contaminants are found. This is something that is unavoidable and I cannot provide assurance trace elements being found among my sourced ingredient.
